Kelantan Umno Youth and Orang Muda Berpadu Anti Korupsi (Ombak) lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the Lembah Sireh issue.

About 50 people led by Kelantan Umno Youth chief Anuar Safian carried banners on the Lembah Sireh issue before making a report at MACC office here at about noon.

Anuar described the RM2 billion Lembah Sireh project on 400 hectares land as the largest scandal involving the Kelantan government and should be investigated and exposed to the people.

"We urge MACC to investigate abuse of power, fraud and corruption by the Kelantan government as it involves public interest as the land was transferred before the agreement was signed.

MACC was also urged to investigate a statement by Deputy Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob that the Kelantan government only received RM7,357.883 from the developer since the project was implemented.
